'A dream come true': Kim Kardashian wears wedding dress as she FINALLY lands first American Vogue cover... with fiancé Kanye West

She is said to have been desperate to make the front cover of U.S. Vogue, ensuring she schmoozed the editor Anna Wintour at last year's Met Ball with her fiancé Kanye West.
And now Kim Kardashian's long cherished dream has finally come true.
Kim appears on the cover of the April edition of the fashion bible alongside Kanye.
The reality star wears a white strapless Lanvin wedding gown for the shoot, with her rapper fiancé standing behind her in a dark suit and shirt with his arms wrapped around her waist.
Thrilled Kim tweeted that her appearance was a 'dream come true' on Friday when the cover was released on the magazine's website.
'This is such a dream come true!!! Thank you @VogueMagazine for this cover! O M GGGGGG!!! I can't even breath!' (sic) she tweeted.

Kanye simply added on his Twitter page: 'Thank you' with a link to the cover on the Vogue website.
For the cover shot, Kim's hair is pulled into a chic chignon teamed with smoky eye make-up and nude lipstick.
Her Lorraine Schwartz designed 15-carat diamond engagement ring is her only piece of jewellery.
The cover line introduces the piece as: 'Kim & Kanye Their fashionable life and surreal times. #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple.'
It is apparently the first time a hashtag has been used on the Vogue cover and refers to Kim's huge social media presence - she has more than 20 million Twitter followers.
An accompanying video on Vogue's website shows Kim cradling the couple's eight month old baby daughter North as Kanye looks on adoringly.
Another section of footage features Kanye planting a kiss on the baby's head while sitting in a private jet.
Kim sticks to a white wardrobe for the video and she is seen looking particularly striking while walking hand in hand with Kanye in a white feathered Alexander McQueen gown.
The dramatic dress gets another appearance when Kim lies down with her back on a car with Kanye leaning in for an embrace.
Other snippets include her kissing baby North and the couple posing on a private jet to the strains of Kanye's song Bound 2 - the same track features Kim in the music video.
The photographs were taken by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz, who has captured everybody from Queen Elizabeth II to John Lennon, Barack Obama and Lady Gaga.
In her editor's letter, Anna Wintour explains the thinking behind her decision to so prominently feature a reality star who found first found fame through a sex tape.
'Part of the pleasure of editing Vogue, one that lies in a long tradition of this magazine, is being able to feature those who define the culture at any given moment, who stir things up, whose presence in the world shapes the way it looks and influences the way we see it,' she writes.
'I think we can all agree on the fact that that role is currently being played by Kim and Kanye to a T. (Or perhaps that should be to a K?)'
And Wintour denied reports she had been put under pressure by Kanye to put his fiancée on the front of the legendary magazine.
She adds: 'As for the cover, my opinion is that it is both charming and touching, and it was, I should add, entirely our idea to do it; you may have read that Kanye begged me to put his fiancée on Vogue’s cover. He did nothing of the sort.
'The gossip might make better reading, but the simple fact of the matter is that it isn’t true.'
Wintour's decision to give the couple her stamp of approval will be seen by many die-hard fashionistas as controversial. But the British-born editor cited the couple's fame, talent and influence as reason enough to feature them in her pages
'There’s barely a strand of the modern media that the Kardashian Wests haven’t been able to master, and for good reason,' she wrote.
'Kanye is an amazing performer and cultural provocateur, while Kim, through her strength of character, has created a place for herself in the glare of the world’s spotlight, and it takes real guts to do that.'
Despite Wintour's comments, Kanye has often spoken out publicly in favour of Kim being a Vogue cover girl. Indeed, he told Ryan Seacrest last year: 'There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue. She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like every day.'

However, many thought a Vogue cover was highly unlikely, especially after Kim, and her rather fussy Givenchy gown, was unceremoniously cropped out of a 'style section' on the Vogue website following the Met Ball.
The snub was seen as a way for the magazine to distance itself from Kim.
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian tweeted an Instagram of the cover along with the message: 'Vogue #KiKi #Yeezy #Love.' Kendall Jenner added: 'soooo major sister! this is gorgeous!!! @KimKardashian @kanyewest' on her Twitter.
Kim's mother Kris Jenner was equally effusive, posting a tweet which read: 'Gorgeous!!!! @voguemagazine @KimKardashian @kanyewest #amazing #stunning #soproudofyoutwo #AnnieLeibowitz.'
