Real Madrid 4-1 Atletico Madrid (AET): Gareth Bale heads home in extra time to clinch Champions League success

Gareth Bale wrote his name into the history books after heading Real Madrid to Champions League success in Lisbon.
The Welshman was on the end of Angel Di Maria's cross in extra time, and he headed home to seal Real's elusive 'La Decima' - their 10th European title.
Marcelo added a third for Real before Cristiano Ronaldo had the final say from the penalty spot, completing a 4-1 win.
Diego Godin opened the scoring for Atletico in the first half when he capitalised on an error from Iker Casillas to head home.
Atletico looked set for glory as the defended for their lives and clung on to their slender lead.
But the game took a twist in injury time when Sergio Ramos headed Real Madrid level, finding the back of the net from a corner in the 93rd minute.
Diego Costa started for Atletico, but was clearly not fit and withdrawn as early as the ninth minute.
In the end, it was the white side of Madrid celebrating a famous European triumph.
